First Baptist Academy fosters spiritual development in their

students. This year, 12 of their students came to know Jesus as 

Lord and Savior.

• FBA students’ academic achievements are evident. Students 

recently took the TerraNova3 test where they scored in the top 

20% in the nation in reading and math. 

• Throughout the year, students participated in mission projects

ministering to others both near and far.

• Over 1/3 of the students participated in after-school sports

programs.

• Each day, students had countless opportunities for social

interaction where they learned how to put into practice what 

God means when He says to love your neighbor as yourself.

• Students enjoyed weekly resources including: Music, P.E., Art, 

and Media. FBA’s 4th through 8th graders also had the option 

to take band.

His Plans for Our Future

Here at First Baptist Academy, our mission is to prepare students to become the next generation of Christian leaders: developing our students spiritually, intellectually, socially, and physically; partnering with Christian families; and providing a Biblically integrated education of academic excellence.

Throughout every facet of our program, God’s Word is the lens through which we look as we seek to teach and disciple our students to understand God’s plan for their lives.  First, it’s of utmost importance that our students realize their need for a Savior.  Second, we disciple our students, using God’s Word, on how to live lives that glorify the Lord out of a love that compels them to do so.  And third it is with intentional Biblical guidance that we, in partnership with their parents, help our students to develop a Biblical worldview: the only worldview based on His Truth.  

Our academic program is rigorous and challenging as we cultivate the hearts and minds of our students.  The more our students learn about the world God created, the deeper their understanding and love for Him will become.   

Jeremiah 29:11 states, ““ For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”  We understand His plans for FBA’s future are great, and they are great because they are His.
